Historical Day
Today Barack Obama was inaugurated as our 44th President of the United States. He is the first African-American to be elected to this post. While I did not vote for him, I listened to his speech with anticipation. He is very charismatic and well-spoken; I hope he is able to achieve his goals. Rick Warren did the introductory prayer which I thought was exciting, but I was disappointed to see the President did not recite the Lord's Prayer when Rev. Warren led everyone in it. I wish him well and God's blessings in this great undertaking!
