I have been reading Julia at Work, Wife, Mom... Life! for awhile now, and thought the Working Mommy Wednesdays were a great idea, but with Gigi's B2S/B2B assignments, I've not gotten around to partaking until today!
Julia gave two prompts for today's topic, and this is the one I chose (I may have to do a top 10 list as well later if I get a chance!)
Best Afternoon Pick Me Up
A nap followed by a snack of Mr. Pibb and some combination of chocolate and nuts (peanut M&Ms, Snickers, etc.). The first one is good for you, but entirely unattainable (at least for me except on the rare occasions I can wrangle one on the weekend). I know the second is not, but that's what works for me in my little office. Which is partly why my little tush is not so little anymore. I keep telling myself, I'll start to get more sleep, then I'll have the energy to exercise over lunch, and then I won't have the afternoon crash. If I ever get to that point, it will be true. Just...not...there...yet....

Hey, I do exercise over lunch and still have the 2-3pm crash! Though, the exercise does *force* me to sleep better. Glad to see you on WMW!

Before I had my girls, I worked out at lunch. I really have no excuse - there is a gym NEXT DOOR to my office. A really nice one. But after I had our eldest, I stopped going for a year or so. I finally started back, but six months later, I got preggers, and haven't returned. I blame being up all night with the munchkins. Monday I was up 4 times in the first 3 hours after I went to bed. I stopped counting after that. It's not that bad all the time, but it's not consistently good enough to make it worth it the membership fee. :)

I agree, Snickers does sound good. I wish I were motivated to exercise over lunch.
Julia - I did 5 push ups last night! I think that's a great challenge. I also did 5 sit ups. I have a long way to go, but I'm hoping to keep it up.
Rachel and Gina - Maybe we can reward ourselves with a Snickers after we can do 20 in a row? :)
